To get to the Healing Rooms by car via Cow Green or Pellon Lane, turn left after the traffic lights on to St. James Road. Then take a left before the Salvation Army Citadel into St. James Street and The Healing Rooms are located on your left. Parking is available on St James Street and surrounding streets. Parking meters are in operation at 50p per hour or part thereof between 8.00am and 6.00pm. The maximum stay is 2 hours, but there is a longer stay car park at the rear of St James Street. This car park is free after 6.00pm and it is recommended that evening visitors use this car park as parking on St James Street is for residents only between 6.00pm and 8.00am. A parking ticket will be issued if you park in the residents only area on St James Street in the evening.
